About OPT

Ollie started working in the theatre and live events industry when he was 11 years of age. He started off as a stagehand in the production of Cabaret the Musical, performed by Wildern School at the Berry Theatre, one of the opening shows that the Berry put on during its first opening to the public. 12 years later, Ollie has been catering for all sorts of shows in public entertainment, and has a real passion to take any show or event to the next level. He studied Technical Theatre and Production Arts at a College in Southampton, where he spent 2 years learning all about the tricks of the trade and operations of live events, learning from a industry professional. Alongside the course, he was out and about with other companies learning the ropes and building up his skills, ready for future endeavours. Since then, Ollie took on the role as a Technical Manager in a secondary school in Southampton, where he would assist the highly successful performing arts department in all their needs. This can range from daily tasks like maintenance, to designing and building the sets for the school shows, along with installing all the technical aspects of the show.
